Last month I shared with you guys the first round of Next’s style challenge, pitting Aussie and British bloggers against each other in a style off, to see who could work their heritage best. You can check out the post here if you haven’t seen it – we got to pick one Next item each to style, and I enjoyed pairing my zip shirt with leather shorts and a yellow blazer in a modern twist on a school uniform.

Well, I’m so excited to announce that I was picked by Next as their favourite British blogger, and went through to the final round to face it off with their top Aussie girl, the gorgeous Willabelle of Pale Divison. It’s pretty daunting to be up against such a stylish blogger, but I’m happy with my outfit, which I think definitely represents British style. I’d like to think it’s a little cool and nonchalant, with a boyish sexiness running through. I have to admit, I was daunted at first at picking an entire outfit from Next, but I won’t be any more. They’ve got some really great pieces to fit into a modern, fashion-forward wardrobe – like these metallic jeans, how amazing are they?! I could completely see two of my top British style icons Kate Moss and Lou Doillon rocking these jeans.

Who’s your favourite British style icon?
