Harry Potter Studio Tour at Leavesden

So this is not exactly a fashion post, but chances are a lot of you are fellow Harry Potter fans, so I thought it might still be of interest to my readers! When I got an invite to the studio tour of Harry Potter at Leavesden, I jumped at the chance. I love seeing behind-the-scenes stuff, and with Harry Potter it’s even better as I went to school so nearby the studios, and some of my friends were in the movies. The tour is really great, and as it is almost entirely self-guided, you can take your time exploring the beautiful sets and workshops. Here are some of my favourite parts of the tour …

The Great Hall (reminds me of the hall in my old college at Cambridge)

A model of Hogwarts (don’t you wish you could shrink to be able to walk around in it?!)

Diagon Alley (this is the coolest place. I want to go on a shopping spree here!)

Dumbledore’s office (a pensieve would have really helped me during exam term!)

If you’re a fan, I’d definitely recommend going. Ticket prices are fairly reasonable, seeing as you can spend as long as you want in the studios (though three hours is probably enough), and there’s a great canteen with the best food I’ve had at a tourist attraction for ages. Also – you can try a cup of butterbeer, which really does taste exactly as it sounds!

Any Harry Potter fans out there? x
