Love it or loathe it, you can’t ignore the fact that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. All those pink and red ads featuring flowers or ladies in their undies (or both)? Yup, this is what they’ve all been about! I have to admit I’m feeling the love this year. Whether you’re single or partnered up, Valentine’s Day is just a lovely opportunity to spread the love and treat those special people in your lives. You don’t need grand gestures or presents to make your loves smile – sometimes the simplest, smallest gestures are the ones that make the biggest impact.

That being said, we girls do love a cheeky present or two! Lingerie and jewellery might be cliched, but they’re staples for a reason. Both are super intimate and personal, and you can really pick something which will have a unique meaning to the lucky lady you’re giving it to (or lucky boy, of course – undies and jewellery work just as well for the boys!). I put together a little collection here of some of my favourite lingerie and jewellery brands as inspiration for those of you yet to get presents (or if you just fancied treating yourself to something cute!).

First up is this oh-so-gorgeous floral lace cami set from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s lingerie range for Autograph, M&S. Isn’t it dreamy? The thing about beautiful lingerie is it makes a girl feel so good about herself, and this little set – as well as all of Rosie’s collection actually, which is super girly and gorgeous – definitely does just that. And it feels like something actually designed with practicality in mind. As well as looking so lovely, these are the perfect sweet PJs for warm nights and summery mornings, and just add a cosy wrap or dressing gown for when it’s colder.

If you’re looking for a jewellery piece instead for your Valentine, you’ve got to check out these next brands. You’re probably aware of Swarovski already. I adore their simple crystal pendants like the one I’m wearing in these photos (it’s sold out, but there are plenty of similar ones here) as they’re perfect every day pieces which add a touch of elegance to any outfit, but they also have more intricate designs if you like something a little more detailed. Next up is Storm London, who are better known for their watches but also offer some gorgeous jewellery. I’m wearing their Heart Necklace here, just right for Valentine’s Day. Pandora are another brand with some super sweet loved-up designs – how adorable is the little cupids charm from their Valentine’s collection I’m wearing in these shots?

I am aware however that not all girls want something so obviously romantic, so if you’re looking for jewellery that’s a bit more unique, Cinderela B is the brand for you. All their pieces are handmade in their Spitalfields showroom by the loveliest team of jewellery-makers you’ll ever meet, and their designs are just so special. I love that their collections are based around nature but their designs still have that fashion-conscious element of edge and surprise. I’m actually wearing a custom-made piece in these photos, but they’ve got a few similar designs on their site. My favourite current collection of theirs is Amuleto – these pieces are perfect for Valentine’s as they’ve all got meaning behind them in the types of stones used and the bird, cage and sun imagery.

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day later this week sweeties whatever you’re doing! If you’ve got something excited planned, let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear all about it! 🙂 x
