top: c/o Hero & Cape, skirt: Helmut Lang, shoes: Zara, bag: Select Fashion, watch: c/o Guess, bracelet: c/o Eclectic Eccentricity
One of my favourite styles this season – and always, really – is mixing casual, everyday pieces with eveningwear. It’s a look I’ve been seeing a lot on the streets of London – women wearing beautiful cocktail dresses with wedge trainers, or slouchy boyfriend jeans and an oversized tee polished off with sharp kitten heels. This style is all about being cool and effortless, whilst at the same time having a touch of elegance. The trick is not to look too put together. Just play around with textures and colours until you hit upon something you really love! For me it was this outfit – I love the cool tee with the elegance of this Helmut Lang skirt (my first purchase from one of my favourite designers!), and the colours are really laid back and casual.

23rd October, 2012 I don’t normally post about competitions, but this one is just so mega that I had to let you guys now about it. Adidas NEO have launched an exclusive ‘Find My Gold Shoes’ competition to find a pair of Justin Bieber’s limited edition gold Adidas NEO sneakers online, and a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Miami to meet him. MEET JUSTIN BIEBER? ALL-EXPENSES PAID TRIP TO MIAMI? See – I told you it was mega.
In addition to this prize, Adidas NEO are offering two bloggers the chance to become the official reporters for the Miami trip, and they’ve given me the chance to be one of them. All they asked was for me to show them my #NEOface – what would my face look like if I found out I’d won a place on the trip? And here’s the beauty I came up with up …

Yup, the phone has dropped right out of my hand at my shock at the news. So if you want to have a reason to be pulling such a stupid face as mine above, go to the Adidas NEO Facebook page right away for all the details on how to enter this amazing competition. Good luck girls (and guys)! Maybe I’ll be seeing you in Miami very soon … x

22nd October, 2012 Just like other clothes, what underwear I wear is so dependent on my mood. Some days I feel wrong if I’m not wearing matching underwear (I know, I can be weird like that) and other days I’m really into mixing and matching and playing with colours. I can just about categorise my ‘lingerie moods’ into three styles, so I did my virtual shopping around these.

soft and playful: Topshop Lace Underwire Bandeau & Panache Andorra Short / cool & casual: Wonderbra Full Effect Bra & Topshop Batman Pants / elegant and sultry: Agent Provocateur Caitlin Set
Apart from mood, the most important thing for me when it comes to buying underwear is that it must fit really well, so make sure you’re wearing the right size bra (Panache’s bra size calculator is really handy for this) and then you’ve got the confidence to wear whatever style of lingerie you fancy. I’m loving all three of these sets. I really wish I was able to justify buying that amazing Agent Provocateur creation – it’s just ridiculously hot and I love the quirky cut-outs – but it’s probably best saved for a cheeky birthday present to myself 😉
Which is your favourite set?

dress: Topshop, shoes: Topshop, bag: Topshop, leather cuff: Warehouse, claw cuff: c/o Trash & Trinkets, ring: c/o Rock n Rose
I miss summer. I stumbled across these pictures we took for the blog that I never got round to posting and it just reminded me of everything I love about the best season of the year – long days, sunshine, the ability to throw something on and not have to worry about how it goes with a coat and scarf and hat and boots. It’s just so easy and effortless. While I do love winter style, I find it a little more tough and there’s just a lot more to it. Anyway, apologies for the out-of-season post, but I still wanted to share this outfit with you all 🙂 hope you all have a great weekend!

jumper: c/o Amplified, gillet: c/o Fashion Union, jeans: c/o Fashion Union, boots: c/o StylistPick
Are you getting tired of these boots by now? I hope not! There’s still a couple more outfits to go to. This look is what I tend to wear most days in Winter – skinny jeans, a cool sweatshirt, and something leather. This is my first leather gillet though and I’m loving it. It just adds that extra little bit of kick-ass to a simple outfit like this. It’s covering up the graphic of the jumper underneath, which is Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon cover (one of my favourite albums of all time – who’s with me?), but I’ll have a video to show you all of all my outfits from my week with StylistPick, and you’ll be able to see it more clearly then.
Hope everyone’s having a great week so far 🙂 I’ve been super busy with blog stuff, writing and seeing friends. Always a good combination.
