Girls – we all know that feeling. You get home from a long day out in heels and take off your shoes, only to find you can barely flatten your feet and each step is an achy agony. Even my comfiest pair of boots, which have a heel about the same size as these Tamaris, make my feet ache if I’m walking about in them all day, so when German shoe brand Tamaris got in touch about a new range they’ve developed to reduce the pain of heeled shoes, I had to give them a go. Introducing the ANTIshokk collection – each pair of shoes have pneumatic chambers and core stabilisers in the heel that soften the impact of every step by up to 50%. 50%! They sent me a pair to see how well they work for myself.

To really test the boots, I wore them to London on a day when I had lots of meetings and events, so I was running around from place to place. I can safely say that my feet stayed ache-free all day long! Plus, how gorgeous are these boots? I was overrun with compliments on them. I can definitely see them becoming a my most-worn boots when summer comes back around, as the colour and shape is perfect for that bohemian summer vibe, and the best thing is that I’ll know they’ll stay comfy all day long. The Tamaris ANTIshokk range have some other great on-trend styles, including stacked-heel Mary-Janes and androgynous brogues.
