Why can’t I live in Brazil? Not only is the weather great but the clothes are too judging from Fashion Coolture’s blog. Need to find myself a UK version of these pastel green jeans and oversized animal-print shirt.

Old news yes, but still good news, and news that makes me very excited. Sexy, polished, and with dashings of leather and bling, Versace is a pretty OTT brand. However, I think that devil-may-care attitude in their clothes will translate well when diluted down through a ready-to-wear collection, particularly with H&M, who are renowned for their modern take on basics. Italian extravagence + Swedish minimalism = one awesome collection.

The details: 40 pieces for women, 20 pieces for men, and a few homeware pieces thrown in so your bed and sofa don’t get jealous. The collection will debut on November 17 – oh the wait – and a pre-Spring collection will also be out on January 19, 2012. They’ve timed the release perfectly, as the unashamedly sexy dresses are sure to be a huge hit for the party season. I love how they’ve taken themes from the Versace AW11 collection – gold detailing, just-above-the-knee lengths, art-deco prints – and translated them for the H&M girl and guy.

Model Lili Ji

Lili Ji is one of my favourite models at the moment, and not just because she’s Chinese (I’m half Chinese myself). It’s her face that gets me – careful, almond eyes and those smooth cheekbones curving down into full, inviting lips. She’s also a beautiful mover and has a really delicate way of holding herself. By now she’s worked for designers such as Prada and Massimo Rebecchi, and she’s also signed with Elite Model Management (Paris), One Management (NY) and Paras Talent (China). With those credentials, she’s bound to have a great career.

Well this day was very British! Umbrella-blown-inside-out moments galore, and for the most part I could barely see through my hair. Managed to get some quick pictures done before the rain came, and it was actually rather warm, hence the shorts. I’m trying to stretch out bare legs as far into September as possible but it’s already getting a bit difficult.

Cover of the Month – September

My favourite magazine cover this month has to be Dazed & Confused Korea. Not only is it channelling the animal trend, but I just love that despite being monochrome you still feel movement and depth in the picture. Plus, the sequins on the head-band remind me of lights in a night-time skyline. Dreamy.
