I have a quandary. I am craving a new bag and love Urban Outfitters‘ affordable but ever-so-stylish range, but I can’t decide between these three! Do I get the Collina Strada Alea Canvas Bag, which is quirky and modern, the Suede Messenger Bag, which is such a delicious colour, or the Leather Fringed Bucket Bag that will go with any outfit and is super practical.

Please help!

The T-shirt

ASOS Zoe Karssen 'young' t-shirt

Sometimes you just know. I saw this beauty during a lunchtime browse on ASOS and bagged it right away. Everything about it is perfect, from the slight orangey-red colour to the length of the sleeves. I love the fact that it is oversized as well, as it makes for a really versatile piece. I like tucking the front of long t-shirts into my trousers/shorts/skirts and leaving the rest to hang out as it gives the outfit a really relaxed, nonchalant feel.

I’m going to have to keep an eye on Zoe Karssen now. This young Dutch label have the best collection of t-shirts and sweats – not too cutesy, not too grungy – and I want them all! Goodbye bank balance, hello laid-back awesomeness …

It was weirdly warm out today, despite the rain and dark clouds. So I threw on a girly white summer dress and nude knit (isn’t Zara the best for knitwear atm?) but autumned it up with a black belt and black boots. My empty wallet means that I have to recycle last season’s clothes, but I like mixing seasons up this way. Plus, you find you can get a lot more out of your clothes when you don’t designate them to a particular season.

Here Goes!

Very very excited to be starting this blog. I’ve been wanting to do one for a while now, having been so impressed by the fashion blogs already on the interwebs (see blogroll) and thinking it looks so fun. I’ve also reached a point in my life where I’ve become comfortable and assured with own style, and I’m pushing my fashion boundaries a little more. I may not be a model or have studied fashion at university (I did Geography instead!), but I am always true to my own style and use fashion to both reflect how I am feeling/influence how I’m feeling. So if that strikes a chord with you please do stick around and say hello!
