Stockholm Streetstyle
I adore colour, I really do. Most of my outfits tend to have some element of colour – even in the dead of winter I find myself brightening up my leathers and blacks with fun scarves and socks. But there’s something cool and understated about black and grey outfits. And, as these ladies prove, they’re not necessarily just for winter or the workplace. The last look is my favourite – she’s layered her jumper and dress perfectly.

top: Junk Food via Topshop, shorts: Topshop, bag: c/o Kipling, shoes: SixtySeven
This is a typical outfit for me during the summer when I’m on the go. I know, I know, I wish I could wear heels all the time too and beautiful dresses and really cool outfits, but sometimes you just need something really simple and easy, and I wanted to show you a more plain outfit of mine so you can see my real down-time wear! I love t-shirts, and ones with Batman on it are the best.

dress: Rare via ASOS, shoes: Zara, bag: vintage
Justifying spending £36 on a dress isn’t hard when it’s one as beautiful as this! This Rare skater dress is just so beautiful, and has so many details I love – a skater skirt, it’s backless, it’s red – so I had to get it when I saw it. I’m surprised that the gold chain detail at the back doesn’t look tacky or cheap at all, it’s actually really elegant, but all the same I toned down the ‘glamness’ of the dress with my quirky vintage triangle bag and thick ankle strap heels. This dress and these heels are possibly my two favourite recent purchases. You’re probably going to get sick of seeing the heels in outfit posts! But they’re just so cool and they go with absolutely everything.

Fashionising
Head over heels for this autumnal editorial for Bambi Magazine, featuring the stunning Natalya Rassadnikova. But what really makes the shoot (the outfits and styling are nice enough, but nothing outstanding in my opinion) is the beautiful photography by Igor Oussenko. Light shining through the leaves like a half-remembered dream. Just gorgeous.

1. Steve Mono Paul
2. ALDO Topor
3. ALDO Tortoriello
Three of my favourite words in the English language: black leather backpacks. I wear my trusty one from Topshop ALL THE TIME (you might have seen it in outfits posts here and here) and so am now on a hunt for a new one. If I had endless money, I would definitely get the gorgeous Steve Mono one. But I don’t (sob!) so the cheaper alternatives from ALDO are a good bet. I think the silver studs of ALDO’s Tortoriello bag are really cool and not as tacky as gold studs can be, so that’s probably my favourite. I love how easy backpacks are to wear – you can sling them over one shoulder to use them as a normal bag, but when your shoulders starts to ache (if you stuff as much into your bags as I do mine you’ll know what I mean!) you can slip it onto both shoulders and carry on pain free. See? Whoever said fashion can’t be painless …
