Loving these soft-rock outfits Georgia May Jagger is wearing for Elle France. It’s like the day after the gig, when you’re still rocking yesterday’s make-up and cool clothes, but you throw on an oversized jumper and braid your bed-hair while you slouch around the house recovering. Love the last outfit so much – Wildfox jumpers are the best, and how cool are those metallic boots!

Simple Black Maxi Dress

Jessica Stein from Tuula - black maxi dress

Tuula

Confession: I’ve never worn a maxi. No maxi skirt, no maxi dress, nothing. I think it’s cause I like my legs to be free, and I’ve also struggled getting one that is the right length on me, as they always come up a little short. But after looking at this simple black maxi on the gorgeous Jessica from Tuula, and getting my first ever maxi skirt a few weeks ago, I know I’ve gotta get a maxi dress this summer. I’m taking the plunge. Please throw any tips on where to find a good maxi dress my way! I can’t wait to have fun styling it. I’m imagining one with black Converse and a neon satchel for a casual daytime look and neon heels and a metallic bag for the night.

How would you style a simple black maxi?

Even though I’m absolutely TERRIFIED of heights, this summer lookbook from Marc by Marc Jacobs is so amazing it makes me wanna go prancing around the rooftops of London in my bikini brights and cool shades. If it was sunny of course. I’m loving the neon accents and playful prints – this is what summer is all about! I’m already practising knotting my tees and searching for the perfect shades to get ready for warm days and sunshine, lounging on the grass, ice cream, summer kisses and barbecues at dusk. Bring it on!

Ps. I’m off for a little holiday to Seville with my parents tonight, so I probably won’t be around Twitter or Facebook that much, but I do have access to wi-fi so I will keep the blog updated. Unfortunately, Callum still has uni so he won’t be coming along, otherwise I would have loads of nice summery outfits to share with you all! Hopefully I’ll bring the sun back with me hey? 🙂

I am so in a need of a new hairstyle! I’ve had the same long, no-fringe, dip-dyed hair for around a year now, and I really wanna shake things up. Even though long hair is great for styling, it can feel a little boring, and it’s gotten so long now that if I tie my hair in a bun (one of my favourite hairstyles – it’s so easy and cute!) it hurts from the weight of it! To help me with my new hairstyle decision, I went and found some inspiring photos to share with you all. Not sure what I want yet – new cut, new colour, I’m open to anything, so here’s a variety of styles I like. Also, while I’m very happy to colour my hair on my own at home, I definitely need to find a salon for a good cut. I’ve been recommended Rush London for quality and price,  and celebrity favourite Daniel Galvin if I really want to treat myself, but if any one you know a good London hair salon, do let me know 🙂
