Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Callum and I were busy shooting for a very cool new project with one of my favourite high-street brands, but we managed to rest a bit. We even went to see Pacific Rim late last night. Have you seen it? I loved it! I am a massive sci-fi geek, so a blizter of an action film with tonnes of robots and giant monsters is just YES YES YES in my books.

Ahem. Back to the fashion.

This is a summery little outfit I wore the other weekend when Callum and I went for a mini road trip. Come summer I practically live in shorts, and this is my favourite pair this year. You might have seen them the other week when I wore them for a night out with silver heels, but they work just as well in the day with a tee and some flats. Easy! A throw-on jacket is also a must during summer. This soft spot blazer by MinkPink is such a cutie (yes, I know, polka dots AGAIN), and it’s so light and breezy you’ll still feel cool and comfy no matter how hot out it is. x

Off-Duty Models

Stockholm Street Style

What is it about off-duty models that is just so easy and cool? I love their style – simple, streamlined, and always with a focus on comfort. As much as I love my heels, it’s great to see models rocking flats and boots, as this is how most of us dress every day, but their outfits always have a fashion-forward edge to stop them from being run-of-the-mill. Which is your favourite from the six above? I’m particularly loving the middle two – leather pants are always a yes, and the other’s high-waisted shorts and soft blouse combo is summer easiness perfection.

#WOWJarlo | Gillian Polka Dot Shift Dress

dress: c/o Jarlo, shoes: Nelly

This has to be the cutest dress in the world! For our third #WOWJarlo styling challenge, us blogger girls were given a choice of two polka dot beauties – the Gillian dress, or the McKenzie. Both are lovely, but I went for the Gillian as I do love a shift dress. I have to say, this is my favourite out of all three #WOWJarlo looks I think, as it’s just such an easy, loveable dress I can wear all the time. Because it’s so flirty and playful, I went with my usual high-pony (how bored are you of seeing this style already?) but sexed it up with some seriously high shoes. I realise that super skyscraping heels aren’t for everyone, so just swap these for a pair of Converse or cute sneakers and you’re good to go! It’s how I’ve been wearing this dress during these beautiful summer days.

Hope everyone’s having a good week so far. On Wednesdays, I like to think that the weekend is practically here already 😉 I’m so looking forward to mine – Callum is finally coming home from a work trip to NY and I can’t wait to spend some time with him! We’ll probably spend most of it catching up on blog shoots … but at least we’ll be together 😉 x

It always the way, isn’t it? After coming back from holiday, all you want to do is IMMEDIATELY go away again, and somewhere hot and lovely again please, if it’s not too much to ask. To be fair, my one holiday this year – Seville – was only four days long, and it was cloudy for three of those days so I’m not sure it even counts. Therefore I’m 100% allowed to be dreaming of Callum and I’s next trip away. Now I’m a bit weird and I get quite excited about packing my travel bag, so I thought I’d share with you the sort of things you’d find if you had a rummage through my on-flight bag!

A few things I must always have on me when I fly- headphones (I’m a bit of an uneasy flyer so some chilled out music helps calms my nerves), my Kindle, a little coin purse (how adorable is this Kate Spade popsicle one!), and some lip balm. Comfy shoes are also a must (I usually go for either Converse or trainers – JD sports have an awesome range of women’s footwear where I get a lot of my sneaks from). Then pop it all into a gorgeous bag like this Topshop holdall and we have travel practicality and cuteness perfection!

What are your travel essentials? x
